As someone who has always been behind the scene, being the head of the production and product development of a shoe company, Maco Custodio who sees art as innate passion of his decided to build his own shoe line. After few years of study and training from here and abroad and broad experiences in the shoe industry, he ventured first in designing and making shoes for his friends and family. His breakthrough started when a renowned fashion designer Jc Buendia got fascinated with his designs and asked him to sponsor shoes for a fashion show (Jc Buendia 2008 Collection). From then on, multitude of offers and orders has emerged.

He considers his designs as “one of a kind”, an industrial-inspired that attracts clienteles of all ages. His inspiration is primarily modern buildings, structures, and architectures. Evidently, his shoe designs are modern stimulated. Combining his knowledge as a graduate of Fine Arts major in Industrial Design from University of Sto. Tomas, and his technical skills, Maco Custodio has an extensive approach not just in shoe designing but most importantly in shoe making.

As early as its debut, a number of prominent personalities noticed his unique designs and take hold of a pair or two. For him, design is important but comfort should not be discounted of. He believes that for a woman who is naturally a shoe fanatic to be truly satisfied beauty and comfort of shoes should always come hand in hand. That is why, he makes sure that these two qualities are present.
